In the sleepy countryside town of Sonoma, California is Pinocchio Furniture, a custom furniture and restoration workshop founded in 1998 by Sasha Papadin. Sasha and his team have repaired and restored thousands of antiques from all over the world as well as designed and built custom furniture that has been featured in Architectural Digest, Conde Nast, California Style, and Domino. 

The Pinocchio Boards were originally created by Sasha and his apprentice Seven as Christmas gifts for their friends and families. Inspired by vintage breadboards they had seen while traveling through Europe, they developed and refined the signature curved handle over many months in order to replicate the smooth, time-polished fit of those vintage boards but with a clean, modern silhouette cut from a single piece of wood.
